If the event then has to be cancelled (for reasons outside your control) much of this expense could be forfeited.

Wedding Insurance can provide compensation in these circumstances and can include Cancellation due to the overseas posting of a member of HM Forces, the loss or damage of wedding attire, wedding presents, rings, the wedding cake and the non-arrival of transport, flowers or the photographer.

Like most policies there are some exclusions and you’ve guessed it the Bride or Groom changing their mind is one of them.
